This is a review for a herbal product made by DaVinci Labs. Colon cleanse is claimed to eliminate the toxins accumulated in the gastrointestinal tract and restore the balance of beneficial, “good” bacteria inhabiting it. This helps soothe the bowels and promotes a healthy metabolism.

This herbal supplement is made of four proprietary blends, each containing different ingredients. The first is called Balance & Capture Proprietary, which contains the following:

Soothe & Replenish Proprietary Blend contains:
- N-Acetyl Glucosamine

The manufacturer advises taking 4 capsules per day, preferably between meals or as instructed by your health care professional.

A bottle of supplement containing 120 capsules costs $23.87. At the time of writing this review, there were no discounts available for this product.
Possible Side Effects
A number of individuals skip reading product labels, but this is ill advised, as some products, including this one contain crabs, shrimps and tree nuts, which are known to cause allergic reactions.
The manufacturer warns potential customers that Colon Cleanse contains lead, which is a chemical known by the State of California to cause reproductive impairment and birth defects. Although it is most likely present in a legally acceptable dose, the fact that is present at all raises a huge concern.
Manufacturer’s Commitment
We could not find any information related to products returns and refunds at the time of writing this review, both on the company’s official website and numerous retailer’s pages.
A reviews page was missing from the manufacturer’s website, however we did manage to find one review on their Amazon page and the customer was very satisfied, stating it was a mild, slow detox, without any side effects.
The Bottom Line
DaVinci Labs Colon Cleanse appears to be a good product. An extensive ingredients list is bound to have an effect even for the most stubborn cases and judging from the words of a satisfied customer, it does a great job. However, major downsides to this product are the price and the fact that it contains a number of allergens and even lead. It is rather expensive when compared to products from other manufacturers, and you can certainly get a product that does the exact same job, just without it containing ingredients which are known to be very harmful.
